What each one waits for
- TrendSniper
Trend following. Waits for a pullback finishing inside an established trend, entering as price turns back the way the trend was already going.
- Dipper
Reversion. Waits for a dip against a longer trend, bought back as it turns.
- Squeeze
Breakout. Waits for volatility contracting to its quietest in months, with the Bollinger bands inside the Keltner channel, then a close breaking out of the band.
- Rider
Trend following. Waits for a trend confirmed as strong by the ADX, then a shallow retrace into a defined zone before the trend continues.
- IDS
Trend following. Waits for an intraday continuation setup, built for the fast timeframes.
- Engulfing
Reversion. Waits for one candle closing completely through the previous one, against the move immediately before it.
- ThreeBar
Reversion. Waits for a three candle reversal pattern.
- Donchian
Breakout. Waits for price closing beyond the highest high or the lowest low of the last N bars.
- VWAP Reversion
Mean reversion. Waits for price stretching two standard deviations away from the session's volume weighted average price, rejecting, and turning back toward it.
- SuperTrend
Trend following. Waits for the 50 period average above the 200 for a buy, or below it for a sell, then a Heikin Ashi candle changing colour the same way.
